We are often on the go, unprepared and when hunger hits, we reach fore something packaged and industrialized. It is also often the case that we get bored with the same snacks over and over, so I&#8217;ll share with you an easy and delicious recipe!<\/p>\n<p>As I have told you in my welcome post, I am currently studying Sports Nutrition at PlantLab school and this was one of the first recipes I made. Personally I love every ingredient in this recipe so there was no way I could go wrong!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3038 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/kellypiquet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/mordidas-de-aveia-int.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"435\" height=\"577\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kellypiquet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/mordidas-de-aveia-int.jpg 683w, https:\/\/kellypiquet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/mordidas-de-aveia-int-226x300.jpg 226w, https:\/\/kellypiquet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/mordidas-de-aveia-int-600x795.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 435px) 100vw, 435px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/3 cup raw, rolled oats (gluten free if possible)<\/li>\n<li>1 date<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00bd tablespoon of almond butter (or more if you wish)<\/li>\n<li>Cinammon and Vanilla powder to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Optional:<\/p>\n<p>add other nuts like pecan, walnuts, or even use different nut butters like macadamia butter<\/p>\n<p>and\/or<\/p>\n<p>add any superfood like maca for example (however, if you are going to use maca, do not consume at night because it can give you a kick of energy).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Combine all ingredients in food processor until smooth past is created. Roll into small balls with the palm of your hands and enjoy!<\/p>\n<p>Bonus: sprinkle some coconut flakes like I did.<\/p>\n<p>Try it out at home and let me know what you think!
